These meetings aimed at creating a program to support Vietnam tuna production companies whilst ensuring commitments in the tuna fishing, trading compliance with Dolphin Conservation Program in Global Tuna Trade.

One of the key activities in this program is “Dolphin Safe” media program. This program includes printing “Dolphin safe” stickers, posting stickers on tuna fishing vessels, fishing ports, trading desks in fishing ports of 7 tuna fishing provinces namely Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Binh Thuan, Ba Ria Vung Tau, Tien Giang and Kien Giang.
