Visible improvement in compliance with anti-IUU fishing regulations in Vietnam

Ba Ria - Vung Tau province has about 5,770 fishing boats. To ensure the fight against illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing, the province has asked fishing vessels to strictly implement the installation of cruise monitoring, registration of fishing licenses and painting of ships according to the regulations. in accordance with European regulations, especially before entering and leaving the port, it is necessary to submit a journey log and output report to be able to trace the origin.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, especially in the last 2 years, not only in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, but also in Southern provinces have made clear changes in the strict implementation of IUU regulations.
